Credit Controller - 6 Month Contract

Location: Cannock

SF Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller available at short notice for a long term contract, based in Cannock. We're supporting a well-established business, who are seeking a confident, hands-on professional to join their finance team for a 6-month period to provide essential support within their credit control function.

Key Responsibilities :

As the Credit Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Proactively managing your own ledger of customer accountsChasing overdue invoices via phone and emailAllocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accountsResolving queries quickly and professionallyProducing aged debt reports and assisting with cashflow forecastingSupporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required

Key Experience :

Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance roleStrong communication skills and a confident telephone mannerExcellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloadAvailable immediately or on short notice
