A private family in Little Venice is seeking a full-time Weekday Chef to join their household

The family of four are looking for someone who is not only talented in the kitchen but also brings warmth, kindness, and professionalism. Building trust and bringing positive energy into the home is as important as strong culinary skills.

This role focuses primarily on one Principal with very specific dietary requirements (for their lunch and dinner); in addition to the whole Family of four for dinner - and with requirement for occasional monthly larger dinner parties (8-12 people)

The Chef should be nutritionally-focussed and comfortable working with structured menus and within dietary guidelines. They will have strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and ability to keep dishes light, fresh, and consistent. They should be emotionally intelligent and discreet, with excellent communication skills

Role & Responsibilities

Prepare and serve lunch at 1pm and dinner at 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Maintain consistency in menus, following existing detailed dietary plan which focuses on clean, simple Mediterranean-inspired dishes (rice, proteins, vegetables), prepared with measured amounts of oil or butter.
Family meals to follow the same style, with flexibility to add sauces or accompaniments.
Optionally assist with breakfast, or prepare items in advance for the family to serve.
Occasionally cook for small dinner parties (8–12 guests), usually on Friday or Saturday.
Collaborate with household staff, including a housekeeper available in the afternoons/evenings to assist with service and clearing.

• Have a valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one

• Have 3-5+ years’ experience working as a Chef within a private household
