The Role:

As an Freight Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the import/export team. You'll gain exposure to customs procedures, shipping documentation, and logistics coordination – all while working alongside experienced professionals who are eager to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day–to–day administrative support to the Ocean teamPrepare and manage shipping and customs documentationAccurately update shipment details and client recordsLiaise with customers, suppliers, and agents regarding documentationAssist with deliveries, releases, and file completionMonitor shipment progress and escalate issues when necessaryGenerate invoices and maintain accurate filing systemsUpdate internal logs and customer reports using ExcelLearn HMRC processes and Port Inventory Systems under supervisionSupport the team with additional operational tasks as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous office/admin experience (logistics preferred)Communicates clearly and professionallyIs confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Outlook)Is eager to learn about freight forwarding and customsHas strong attention to detail and accuracyIs organised, proactive, and able to multitaskEnjoys working collaboratively in a fast–paced environment
