Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper Great Yarmouth, Norfolk

We re working with a well-established local business in Great Yarmouth who are seeking a skilled Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage their day-to-day finance function on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and flexible hours ideal for an experienced finance professional looking for a role that fits around other commitments.

The Role

You ll take ownership of the day-to-day accounting, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth cashflow.

Key duties include:

Managing bookkeeping across sales, purchases, and reconciliations

Preparing monthly management accounts and cashflow updates

Processing supplier payments, invoices and VAT returns

Supporting budgeting and cost control

Liaising with external accountants at year-end

About You

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (Xero, QuickBooks or Sage)

Solid knowledge of double-entry accounting, VAT and UK financial processes

AAT qualified or qualified by experience (ACCA/CIMA advantageous)

Organised, reliable and able to work independently
